Message Tracking

One of the advanced features of FlowMail is the ability to track which recipients have viewed your email message via a method known as dynamic image url tracking.

Note: A message you send will only be tracked if you have included the content Place-Holder $Tracker$ in either your Message Template or your Message itself.

Once you have sent your message to an address list of recipients, you can click the option 'Tracking' from the menu bar above. The tracking page will show you a list of recent emails you have sent including to how many recipients the message was sent and how many have viewed the message.

Click on the 'Details' link next to any message to see the specific recipients that have viewed the message. This will also tell you the date/time the message was first viewed and from what IP Address. An ip address is a set of numbers that identifies each computer connected to the internet and the IP Address can be used to approximate the geographical location of the computer on which the email was first viewed. Click on the IP Address to look-up its approximate location.

Please Note: Due to the nature of the technology, email tracking cannot be considered an absolutely accurate indicator that a message was opened or read by the recipient.
